Romi Shraiter (She/Her)

Co-founder and Artistic Director

Romi Shraiter is a Jewish-Canadian theatre practitioner, hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel. Recently graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada’s Acting program, Romi is based in Tkaronto/Toronto working as an actor, producer and dramaturge.

Salem Currie (They/Them)

Co-founder and Playwright in Residence

Salem Currie is a playwright and dramaturg situated in Montreal, QC. Originally hailing from Whitby, Ontario, Currie began their playwriting career at Queen’s University in 2016. Currie proceeded to complete writing residencies with Kingston’s Blue Canoe Productions, Imaginary Theatre Company, and Queen’s Students on Broadway. After finishing their undergraduate degree with the Dan School of Drama and Music, Currie began studying Playwrighting at The National Theatre School of Canada. They graduated in June 2021, after premiering “Justin Eddy and the Great Cosmic Crisis”, an immersive TYA experience, as a part of Centaur Theatre’s TD Saturday Morning Children’s Series in October 2020. They currently work as a dramaturg, teacher, and playwright in Montreal.
